Local API

OpenStick serves a REST and WebSocket API on your local network, discovered over mDNS as _openstick._tcp. Nothing goes through a cloud.

Pairing

Section titled “Pairing”
  1. Send POST /v1/pair with your client name. A 6-digit code appears on the TV.
  2. Send the code to POST /v1/pair. You get a token.
  3. Send the token as Authorization: Bearer <token> on every request. You can revoke tokens in settings.
